The Lyon® 2000 Series closed steel shelving angle post starter unit instantly creates more vertical storage space and is ideal for steel shelving either against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. This enclosed metal shelving unit is designed for economical, general-purpose storage, featuring five 20-gauge heavy-duty adjustable steel shelves suitable for storing heavier items such as toolboxes and large parts, as well as light parts and aerosols. The patented box design of the shelves provides added strength in both the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners ensuring extra durability. Each shelf includes four shelf clips that can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without the need for tools, allowing easy customization of shelf spacing. The starter unit includes two angle post end upright assemblies, each composed of two angle post uprights made from 14-gauge steel for extra strength, spot welded to 24-gauge steel side panels, and a 24-gauge steel back panel that helps prevent lateral sway and enhances stability. The shelving unit is finished with a durable dove gray powder coat paint that protects steel shelving from everyday use.
