The Lyon 2000 Series closed steel shelving angle post starter unit is designed to instantly create more vertical storage space, suitable for steel shelving against a wall or back-to-back for rows. This industrial shelving unit features five adjustable heavy-duty shelves made from 20-gauge steel, ideal for storing heavier items such as toolboxes, large parts, light parts, and aerosols. The patented box design of the shelves adds strength to both the front and rear, while lapped and welded corners provide extra durability. Each shelf includes four clips that install without tools on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, allowing for easy adjustment of shelf spacing. The starter unit includes two angle post end upright assemblies, each composed of two angle post uprights formed from 14-gauge steel with spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panels, ensuring strength and ease of assembly. The 24-gauge steel back panel prevents lateral sway, providing additional stability. The shelving unit is finished with a durable powder coat in Dove Gray to protect the steel from everyday use.
