The Lyon® 8000 Series closed steel shelving add-on unit instantly creates more vertical storage space with a closed back and sides, suitable for placement against a wall or back-to-back in rows. This unit features five adjustable metal shelves, available in 22-gauge medium-duty, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty steel, ideal for storing light parts, aerosols, tools, safety supplies, or large parts. Each add-on includes one upright assembly composed of two T-post uprights made from durable hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with a spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panel and a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway and provide stability. The patented box design of the shelves and lapped, welded corners enhance strength and durability. Shelves are supported by four shelf clips, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without the need for tools, allowing easy customization of shelf spacing. The shelving unit is finished with a durable dove gray powder coat paint to protect against everyday use.
