This 3-foot shelving unit features a closed back and sides, allowing use either against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. Part of Lyon's® 8000 Series, it is suitable for warehouse or commercial metal shelving applications and comes with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect the steel shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two upright assemblies, each consisting of two T-post uprights made from hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panels, and a 24-gauge steel back panel for lateral sway prevention and added stability. The metal bin shelving starter contains medium-duty shelves made from 22-gauge steel with a patented box design to enhance strength in the front and rear, featuring lapped and welded corners for extra durability. Each shelf includes four shelf clips for easy, tool-free height adjustment, and the shelves are pre-punched at 1-inch-wide spacing to accommodate dividers made from 22-gauge steel, allowing customizable side-to-side spacing. The product is designed for maximum durability and ease of adjustment to adapt to changing storage needs.
