This 3-foot shelving unit features a closed back and sides, allowing use against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. Part of Lyon's® 8000 series, this unit is suitable for warehouse or commercial use and comes with a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the steel from everyday wear. The kit includes two upright assemblies, each consisting of two T-post uprights made from hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panels, and a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway and enhance stability. The shelving starter also includes medium-duty shelves constructed from 22-gauge steel, featuring a patented box design that reinforces both the front and rear, along with lapped and welded corners for extra strength and durability. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips, allowing tool-free adjustment at desired heights, and the shelves are pre-punched to accept 22-gauge steel dividers with 1-inch-wide spacing, which can be positioned side-to-side for customized storage.
