This 3-foot shelving unit features a closed back and sides, allowing use against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. The 8000 series is suitable for warehouse or commercial metal shelving applications, finished with a durable powder coat in dove gray to protect against everyday wear. Each metal bin shelving add-on includes one upright assembly composed of two T-post uprights made from hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panels, and a 24-gauge steel back panel that helps prevent lateral sway, ensuring support and stability. The unit comes with medium-duty 22-gauge steel shelves designed for small parts and lightweight items, featuring a patented box design with lapped and welded corners for additional strength at the front and rear. Each shelf includes four tool-free adjustable clips for easy shelf spacing changes. Steel dividers made from 22-gauge steel are also included, with each shelf pre-punched at 1-inch-wide intervals for adjustable side-to-side spacing, providing customizable storage configurations.
