This 3-foot shelving unit features a closed back and sides and can be used either against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. The 8000 series is suitable for warehouse or commercial metal shelving applications and comes with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to help protect the steel shelving from everyday use. Each metal bin shelving add-on includes one upright assembly, which consists of two T-post uprights made of hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with a spot welded 24-gauge steel side panel, while the 24-gauge steel back panel prevents lateral sway, providing necessary support and stability. The add-on includes medium-duty steel shelves made of 22-gauge steel, designed with a patented box construction to add strength in both the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners for enhanced durability. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that can be easily adjusted without tools to change shelf spacing as storage needs evolve. Steel dividers made of 22-gauge steel are included, allowing side-to-side spacing customization with pre-punched shelf holes spaced 1 inch apart to hold dividers securely for maximum durability and lifetime use.
