Keep your items organized with Lyon's® metal bin shelving starter, a steel bin shelving unit designed for warehouse storage systems requiring assigned locations for materials. This 3-foot shelving unit features closed back and sides, allowing use either against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. The Lyon's® 8000 series is suitable for warehouse or commercial metal shelving applications and is finished with a durable powder coat paint in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The closed shelving upright assemblies include two upright assemblies, each consisting of two T-post uprights made from hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panels and a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway, providing support and stability. The kit includes medium-duty steel shelves made from 22-gauge steel with a patented box design adding strength at the front and rear, lapped and welded corners for durability, and four shelf clips per shelf for easy tool-free adjustment. Shelf clips can be repositioned to change shelf spacing as storage needs evolve. The unit also features pre-punched holes on each shelf for dividers spaced at 1 inch, with dividers made from 22-gauge steel for long-lasting durability. The shelving system is constructed to allow adjustable side-to-side spacing of dividers to customize storage configurations as needed.
