The Lyon® 8000 Series closed steel shelving add-on unit provides increased vertical storage space with a closed back and sides, suitable for placement against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. This unit includes one upright assembly consisting of two T-post uprights made of hot-rolled 16-gauge steel and a side panel constructed from 24-gauge steel, with a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway and enhance stability. The add-on features five adjustable steel shelves available in three gauge options: 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and light items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier tools and large parts. The patented box design of the shelves adds strength front and rear, with lapped and welded corners for durability. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that snap into place on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, allowing easy adjustment of shelf spacing. The unit is finished with a durable dove gray powder coat to protect against everyday use.
