The Lyon® 8000 Series closed steel shelving add-on unit provides vertical storage space with a closed back and sides, suitable for placement against a wall or back-to-back for shelving rows. This unit includes one upright assembly consisting of two T-post uprights made of hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with a spot welded 24-gauge steel side panel, along with a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway and ensure stability. The add-on features five adjustable steel shelves available in 22-gauge medium-duty, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty gauges, accommodating light parts, aerosols, tools, safety supplies, and heavier items. Shelves use a patented box design with lapped and welded corners for enhanced strength and durability. Each shelf includes four clips adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools for easy height customization. The unit is finished with a durable Dove Gray powder coat paint that protects against everyday use.
