The Lyon® closed 8000 series base strips for steel shelving are designed to prevent items from falling beneath the shelving unit by closing off the entire bottom of the shelving section when used with closed uprights. The strip ends extend longer on the bottom to fit behind T-posts on either side and attach easily to the front flange of the shelf with three push-in fasteners. Made of heavy-gauge steel, these closed bases fit 36-inch wide closed shelving sections, align with the top of the bottommost shelf, and are available in 3-inch heights. Each package contains ten base strips and the required push-in fasteners, finished with a strong and smooth dove gray powder coat that offers impact and corrosion resistance. These base strips are compatible with both original and updated 8000 series shelves and are designed for enhanced durability and fit. Warranty information is provided with the product.
