The 8000 series steel box shelves expand storage options for existing industrial steel shelving and are designed for static storage of heavy, evenly distributed loads, making them ideal for tools, drills, aerosols, or safety supplies. These shelves are compatible with both open and closed 8000 series shelving and feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. Available in 22-gauge medium-duty, 20-gauge heavy-duty, and 18-gauge extra heavy-duty options, the shelves accommodate a range of storage needs from small parts to heavy tool boxes and large parts. The patented box design enhances strength at both the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners for added durability. Each shelf includes two rows of pre-punched holes spaced 1 inch apart and comes with four shelf clips that install without tools, allowing shelf height adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Accessories such as steel shelf dividers, which attach securely above and below the shelves, and label holders for inventory control, can be added to maintain organization and ease of stock management.
