The 8000 Series steel box shelves are designed to expand storage options for existing industrial steel shelving, suitable for static storage of heavy, evenly distributed loads. These shelves are compatible with both open and closed 8000 Series shelving and are ideal for storing tools, drills, aerosols, or safety supplies. The shelves feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. Available in 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and lightweight items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, and 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier items such as toolboxes and large parts, the shelves utilize a patented box design that adds strength to the front and rear, with lapped and welded corners for extra durability. Each shelf has two rows of pre-punched holes spaced 1 inch apart, includes four shelf clips for tool-free installation, and allows adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Accessories such as steel shelf dividers attach securely above and below shelves to organize storage and label holders can be added to facilitate inventory control. The product comes with a warranty standard to Lyon’s terms.
