The Lyon metal foot plate is designed as part of the anchor system to secure 2000 Series industrial metal shelving, providing extra stability for a safe and sturdy installation. It is made of 13-gauge roll formed steel with a bright zinc plated finish and measures 2-1/8 inches wide by 2-7/8 inches deep. The foot plate features a vertical mounting flange on top, punched with a 5/16-inch hole to bolt the shelving post to the footplate, along with 7/16-inch holes in the steel plate to accept floor anchors in the correct positions. This foot plate fits both Lyon's 2000 Series angle posts and beaded posts. Although anchors are not included, Lyon offers compatible industrial shelf hardware such as concrete wedge anchor bolts. Each shelving upright requires one foot plate to ensure even shelving and support weight capacities. These industrial metal shelving parts are made in the USA.
