The Lyon metal foot plate is designed as part of the anchor system for securing 8000 Series industrial metal shelving, providing extra stability with its 3" x 3" size and 1/4-inch thick steel construction. This foot plate is pre-drilled with two 3/8-inch-deep holes that align with the 8000 Series T-post uprights and accommodate floor anchors, allowing for proper upright-to-floor angle attachment on either side. Although two angles can be used per upright, it is not necessary, and the foot plate features an unpainted finish that matches the anchors and upright-to-floor angles. The kit and package include the steel foot plate as part of a comprehensive anchoring system that also comprises upright-to-floor angles and industrial shelf hardware such as concrete wedge anchor bolts. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this product ensures shelving stability and safety by facilitating proper installation and load capacity adherence.
