The Lyon® closed 8000 Series base strips are designed to enhance 8000 Series steel shelving by preventing items from falling beneath the shelving unit and, when used with closed uprights, help close off the entire bottom of the shelving section. The base strips feature extended ends on the bottom to fit behind T-posts on either side and attach easily to the front flange of the shelf with three push-in fasteners. Made of heavy-gauge steel, these closed bases fit 36-inch wide closed shelving sections, align with the top of the bottom-most shelf, and are available in 3-inch heights. Each package includes ten base strips and the necessary push-in fasteners and is finished with a strong, smooth dove gray powder coat that is impact and corrosion resistant. The base strips fit both original and updated 8000 Series shelves and expand storage solutions when combined with additional 8000 Series box shelves.
