Hallowell® 800 series KD cabinets are knock-down units available in three models—storage, wardrobe, and combination cabinets—with three door options: solid, safety-view, and ventilated. Designed to meet government requirements, these heavy gauge industrial grade cabinets offer a neat and attractive appearance while providing ample storage space for supplies and personal belongings. Each cabinet features a 3-point positive locking system with a chrome-plated locking handle and built-in grooved key lock. Shelves are adjustable on 2" centers and have a triple flanged front for added strength, supporting up to 250 lbs uniformly distributed. The cabinets have an all-welded frame assembly and factory-hung reinforced doors to ensure proper operation and fit. The specific cabinet measures 48"W x 24"D x 78"H, finished in 725 dark gray, with a single tier and double solid doors in a 1-wide configuration. The doors and body are constructed from 20 gauge steel, shelves from 22 gauge, and the continuous piano hinge is 16 gauge. The interior includes one full-width shelf, three half-width shelves, a half-width coat rod, a 180-degree door swing, and corner foot gussets for added rigidity and stability. The cabinets are made from cold rolled sheet steel and come with a 2-year warranty.
