The 60V Max quick change stud and joist drill is designed for a wide range of large drilling applications such as rough-in work for plumbing and electrical, core drilling, and drilling large holes into wood. It features the DEWALT® anti-rotation E-Clutch system, which detects tool motion and shuts down the tool if necessary in a bind-up situation, with a red indicator LED that illuminates when the E-Clutch is engaged. The drill includes a 7/16 in. hex quick-change chuck for fast and easy bit changes, and offers two-speed settings ranging from 0 to 400 rpm and 0 to 1320 rpm, selectable via a quick-shift speed selector that allows speed changes without feathering the trigger. The magnesium gear case reduces weight while maintaining jobsite durability, combining the power of corded tools with the freedom of cordless operation. It is Tool Connect tag ready, allowing tracking and locating through the DEWALT® Tool Connect app. The tool supports up to 4-5/8 in. self-feed bits and up to 6-1/4 in. hole saws into wood. The kit includes one DCD471 60V Max brushless quick-change stud and joist drill, one charger, one DCB609 FLEXVOLT® 20V/60V Max 3Ah battery, one kit bag, and one side handle.
