GL-5 75W-90 synthetic gear oil offers up to 40% reduction in scarring in the 4-ball wear test, up to 16% increase in load capacity to failure, and up to 60% faster reduction in gear oil temperatures, along with up to 25% reduction in gearbox temperature. It features reduced cavitation and anti-foaming qualities. The gear oil base meets or exceeds API GL-4, API GL-5, API MT-1 (equivalent to MIL-L-2105D), AGMA 252.04, ISO 12925-1 CKC, ISO 6743-6 CKC, US Steel 224 (AIST 224), and DIN 51517 Part III standards. This gear oil has been field-tested and works effectively on race cars, conventional cars, SUVs, trucks, RVs, marine outdrives, industrial gear sets, liquid bath wheel hubs, and Class 1-8 trucks and buses.
