The 3 jaw, 20" (500 mm actual) diameter lathe chuck features an A2-15 mount and is made from forged steel for extra heavy-duty, oil country use. It is a self-centering, manual scroll chuck with an 8" through hole (bore) and a maximum gripping force of 12,500 dan. The chuck includes American Standard tongue and groove 2-piece hard jaws, with all bearing surfaces carefully hardened and machined to high tolerances. It has aggressive serrations on the gripping surfaces to provide enhanced holding power. The product is designed for precise and durable operation in demanding industrial environments.
