This 3 jaw, 25" (630 mm actual) diameter A2-15 forged steel lathe chuck is designed for extra heavy duty oil country applications. It features a self-centering manual scroll mechanism with an 11.6" through hole (bore) and a maximum gripping force of 12,500 dan. The chuck includes American standard tongue and groove 2-piece hard jaws, and all bearing surfaces are carefully hardened and machined to high tolerances. Aggressive serrations on the gripping surfaces provide enhanced holding power.
