The 6-jaw Super Precision Set-Tru features an 8" forged steel body scroll chuck with a 2-piece hard reversible TMX™ American Tongue and Groove jaw system hardened to 50 HRC and a plain back. Set-Tru™ chucks utilize micro adjustment screws to achieve extremely high gripping concentricity, making them suitable for universal application on machine tool spindles, rotary tables, and prismatic fixtures. The TMX™ system is manufactured by Toolmex in Europe and is comparable to Bison® models 3564 and 3565, series 7-866.
