The Ridgid model no. 700 Power Drive is a 115V, 50/60 Hz heavy-duty hand-held power drive featuring a reversible 115V or 230V universal motor. This machine has a capacity for 1/8"-2" (3mm-50mm) pipe and 1/4"-1" (6mm-25mm) bolt with OO-RB die heads, and is designed specifically for Ridgid no. 12-R die heads. It is compatible with other Ridgid die heads (OO-R, OO-RB, 11-R) using adapters, allowing threading from 2 1/2" through 6" (62mm-150mm) with 141/161 geared threaders, and can also be used with 258/258XL pipe cutters (die heads not included). The power drive is approved by CSA to CSA and UL standards for 115V usage. Its specifications include a universal motor of 1/2 HP, a double-throw reversible switch, an all-spur gear reduction gear head, a spring-loaded adapter pawl, and a hardened steel spindle gear. The body is constructed of cast aluminum with a spindle speed of 26-30 RPM (no load). The overall weight of the power drive is 25 lbs. (11 kg) and it measures 28 1/4" (71.7 cm) in length.
