The Ridgid® 88232 model no. 915 roll groover is designed for manual use in field applications, accommodating pipe sizes from 2" to 6" Sch. 10 and 2" to 3-1/2" Sch. 40 with its included roll set. This unit requires only 3-1/2" of clearance to operate around a pipe and a minimum of 2-3/4" of exposed pipe for effective grooving. With the appropriate roll sets, it can groove a wide range from 1-1/4" to 12" pipe. Notable features include a lightweight design at only 23 pounds, an easy roll set change-out allowing for versatility in service, a cast-in carrying handle for transport and security, and an included ratchet with a 90-degree bend-in handle to simplify the grooving process. The tool also offers a customized toolbox option for holding the 915 groover and all available roll sets, along with an easy-to-use depth setting gauge for precise groove depth adjustment. This roll groover has a capacity to handle 1-1/4" to 12" Sch. 10 steel and stainless steel pipe, 2" to 8" K, L, M, DWV copper, 1-1/4" to 6" Sch. 40 PVC, and 1-1/2", 2-1/2" to 3" Sch. 80 PVC. The operation is facilitated by a feed screw and 1/2" ratchet wrench included in the standard equipment package, which also consists of groove roll (model 93642) for 2" - 6", drive roll (model 93757) for 2" - 6", and a ratchet (model 92202) with a 90-degree bend.
