The Ridgid model no. 918 roll groover is equipped with a powerful 15-ton hydraulic ram and is designed for easy transportation, making it ideal for job site needs with one-man setup and operation. This grooving tool can be quickly mounted to Ridgid 300 power drive, 535, 1822, or 1224 threading machines and is capable of grooving up to 12" schedule 10 and 8" schedule 40 standard wall pipes. Roll set changeout is achieved in seconds, enhancing efficiency. The specifications include a capacity for grooving 1"-12" schedule 10 steel, stainless steel, PVC; 1"-8" schedule 40 steel, PVC; 1"-2" schedule 40 stainless steel; 2"-6" copper (types K, L, M, DWV); and 2 1/2"-6" schedule 80 PVC. The unit weighs 81 lbs. (37 kg) and comes standard with one 2"-6" schedule 10/40 roll set, one 8"-12" schedule 10 (8" schedule 40) roll set, tools for roll set change, and a carrying case for roll sets.
