The Ridgid® model no. 117 close quarters tubing cutter has a capacity of 3/16"-15/16" and is specifically designed for use in restricted spaces on small diameter tubing made of hard and soft copper, aluminum, brass, and plastic. It features rollers with grooves for close-to-flare cuts, ensuring precision in confined areas. The cutter is built with a strong, lightweight slide and wheel housing, while a large knurled feed screw knob allows for easy control of cutting pressure to achieve clean cuts. Additionally, models 117 and 118 come equipped with a self-feeding cutter wheel that automatically cuts after tightening the knob only once. Notably, the model 117 includes a special knob designed for easier tightening of the feedscrew.
