The 50' x 50' Medium Duty 6 oz. Tarp, designated as S50X50, is constructed from woven poly and features a silver finish, making it an effective "Sun Block" tarp. This tarp is waterproof, mildewproof, tear resistant, and acid resistant, with a weight of 6 oz. per square yard and a thickness of 11-12 mil. The weave count is 14x14, and grommets are placed approximately every 18 inches, complemented by reinforced corner grommets. The finished size of the tarp is approximately 2% or 6 inches shorter than the stated dimensions. It is lightweight yet durable, manufactured from high-density polyethylene, woven into a black fabric, and laminated silver on both sides. Edges are finished by hemming with poly twine inserted in the hem, and all seams and hems are heat sealed. Additionally, this tarp is UV treated for enhanced protection against sun exposure.
