The 12' x 12' Medium Duty 6 oz. Tarp, Silver - S12X12 is a 12 ft. x 12 ft. woven poly "Sun Block" tarp that boasts several technical features including waterproof, mildewproof, tear-resistant, and acid-resistant qualities. The tarp weighs 6 oz. per square yard with a thickness of 11-12 mil and a 14x14 weave count. Grommets are strategically placed approximately every 18 inches, and the corners are reinforced with grommets. The finished size is approximately 2% or 6 inches shorter than the nominal dimensions. Constructed from lightweight yet durable high-density polyethylene, the tarp is woven into black fabric and laminated in silver on both sides, with edges finished by hemming with poly twine. All seams and hems are heat sealed, and the tarp features UV treatment for added protection.
