The Merit SS 304/304L Schedule 40 welded pipe nipple measures 1-1/2 inches by 8 inches with NPT male threading. Manufactured since 1937 by Merit Brass at their ISO 9001:2008 certified facility in Cleveland, Ohio, the pipe nipple is produced using state-of-the-art equipment to consistently meet and exceed industry requirements. Each nipple undergoes detailed inspection and is packaged in cardboard cartons via automated packaging machines. The product features Positive Metal Identification (PMI) and die-stamping for complete and accurate traceability. Made from stainless steel types 304 and 304L in Schedule 40 wall thickness, the nipples are used in applications such as beverage, pharmaceutical, food processing, power plants, pulp mills, petro-chemical, and chemical industries. The product includes a warranty as per Merit Brass terms.
