The MSS SS 304 cast pipe fitting coupling 2" socket weld female is designed for low-pressure applications where corrosion resistance is critical. This high-quality stainless steel fitting is compliant with strict industry standards, including MSS SP-114 for heat treating and material thickness, and ASTM A351. Made from 304 stainless steel, the fitting offers very good corrosion resistance due to its chromium-nickel composition. For applications requiring enhanced corrosion resistance, 316 MSS SP-114 fittings are available, featuring a higher nickel content along with the addition of molybdenum. This ensures optimal performance in challenging environments.
