The MSS SS 316 cast pipe fitting half coupling 1/2" socket weld female x plain is a high-quality stainless steel fitting designed for low-pressure applications where corrosion resistance is critical. These MSS SP-114 Class 150 stainless steel fittings comply with strict industry standards, including MSS SP-114 for heat treating and material thickness, as well as ASTM A351. The 304 MSS SP-114 fittings are made from chromium-nickel material providing very good corrosion resistance, while the 316 MSS SP-114 fittings offer enhanced corrosion resistance due to their increased nickel content and the addition of molybdenum.
