This turnstile security system's full security turnstile is designed for unsupervised exiting and entry, allowing for one or two-way passage. It features complete stainless steel construction, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The kit includes a rotor assembly, barrier section, mechanism housing, and ceiling plate, with all materials meeting ASTM standards. The rotor assembly comprises a 3" diameter, 1/4" thick tube with arms constructed from 1" round 11 gauge stainless steel tubing, Type 304, where each arm has a rounded, spun closed, ground, and polished end, mechanically fitted over a solid 1 3/8" x 6" spigot without any welds. The shield assembly consists of three horizontal stainless steel channels that are 5/16" thick, with nine vertical 1" stainless steel tubes. The barrier post is made from 3" square 11 gauge stainless steel tubing and features stainless steel 1" 11 gauge barrier arms, also mechanically fitted over 1 3/8" solid spigots. A heavy-duty top bearing facilitates ease of rotation and can support a maximum vertical load of 1500 lbs. The mechanism plate is made from a 3/8" steel plate, with all mechanical components attached to it. The ceiling plate, fabricated from 5/16" gauge steel, connects to the mechanism housing plate and spans the shield assembly for stability and support. The mechanism includes a 1" thick Delrin cam that requires no lubrication and a 1" thick ratchet and indexing plate, hardened to 56 Rockwell for long-lasting durability.
