The ZX-Series large spindle bore lathe is designed for power, precision, efficiency, and reliability in metalworking applications. It features a one-piece cast iron base that absorbs vibrations during operation, allowing for heavier cuts and enhanced accuracy. The lathe is equipped with a 10" three jaw scroll chuck with top reversing jaws and includes an emergency stop (e-stop) on the carriage to improve operator safety. Additional features include a full-length splashguard with an integrated CNC-style worklight, steady and follow rests with roller bearings, and bed ways that are induction hardened and ground to ensure durability.
