The Jet GH-1440-1 14" x 40" gear head engine lathe is equipped with a 3 HP, 1-phase motor driving an 8-speed gear head system with spindle speeds ranging from 90 to 1800 RPM, providing consistent torque for turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, grooving, and parting tasks. It features a 2" spindle bore to increase bar capacity and reduce secondary operations, as well as a D1-5 spindle nose for secure chuck mounting and industrial rigidity.
