The Jet® GH-1340 geared head engine lathe features precision induction hardened ground bed-ways, spindle roller bearings, and high-quality steel hardened gears in the headstock for durability. It has a 2" spindle bore, enclosed gearbox design, standard coolant system, and lead screw cover for smooth, quiet operation and peak performance. The lathe includes an emergency stop within easy reach and a patented electronic chuck key docking station that prevents startup without the chuck key when docked. This model comes with UL 987 certification and is backed by a 2-year warranty. The package includes a 6" 3-jaw chuck mounted on the lathe and an 8" 4-jaw chuck.
