The JET® GH-1340 geared head engine lathe features precision induction hardened ground bed-ways, spindle roller bearings, and high-quality steel hardened gears in the headstock for enhanced durability. It offers a 2" spindle bore, enclosed gearbox design, standard coolant system, and lead screw cover to ensure smooth and quiet operation with peak performance. Safety features include an emergency stop within easy reach and a patented electronic chuck key docking station that prevents startup without the chuck key when properly docked. The lathe comes with UL 987 certification and includes a 6" 3 jaw chuck mounted on the lathe as well as an 8" 4 jaw chuck in the package. This product is backed by the JET® 2 year warranty.
