The new JET® GH-1340 geared head engine lathe features precision induction hardened ground bed-ways, spindle roller bearings, and high-quality steel hardened gears in the headstock for durability. It has a 2" spindle bore, enclosed gearbox design, standard coolant system, and lead screw cover for smooth and quiet operation while maintaining peak performance. The lathe includes an emergency stop within easy reach and a patented electronic chuck key docking station that prevents startup without the chuck key when safely docked. The package includes a 6" 3 jaw chuck mounted on the lathe and an 8" 4 jaw chuck. It is UL 987 certified and comes with a JET® 2 year warranty.
