Constructed using the certified Meehanite casting process for added durability, the Jet® ZH-Series 4-1/2" large spindle bore lathes provide consistent, reliable, and precise operation. The lathe features a clutch-operated headstock with all headstock gears hardened and ground, a fully integrated coolant system, and a rapid traverse on the apron, making it suitable for high-output production applications. It includes a 3 jaw scroll chuck with top reversing jaws, a steady and follow rest equipped with roller bearings, and bed ways that are induction hardened and ground for enhanced durability.
