This kit includes labels designed to enable the transport of packaging using best practices while helping facilities maintain transport compliance. The labels ensure biological specimens are transported with mandatory markings on the outer packaging and comply with IATA DGR, ICAO, and 49 CFR requirements for labeling dangerous goods shipments. It includes labels to properly mark Category A shipments with 17289, the UN 2814 compliant label for infectious substances affecting humans, as well as Class 9 miscellaneous dangerous goods (17287) and Class 6 infectious substance (17288) labels that reflect the correct IATA modifications effective October 1, 2014.
