The Square Wave® 205 welder is a portable AC/DC TIG and stick welding machine that employs Square Wave® technology, designed for hobbyists, makers, small fabricators, and craftsmen to enhance their welding skills. It delivers smooth and stable AC TIG welding on aluminum and DC TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and chrome-moly. The user-friendly interface allows easy setup with adjustable AC frequency control for wider or tighter welding beads, and AC balance adjustment for more cleaning action on dirty aluminum or deeper penetration on thick materials. This multi-process machine supports both TIG welding for precision and bead appearance and stick welding for outdoor work or thicker materials. It operates on standard 120V or 230V circuits, weighing only 36 lbs (16 kg) for portability. The kit includes one Square Wave 205 TIG welder, one K5339-17F-1 Caliber 17 TIG torch Ready-Pak®, one K870 Foot Amptrol™, one gas regulator/flowmeter with a 10 ft (3 m) gas hose kit, one stick electrode holder rated for 200A, one ground clamp and cable, and a 120 and 230V adapter. The welder is certified and compliant with industry standards and comes with a manufacturer’s warranty.
