The 30 gallon, self-closing flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with sides, top, bottom, and doors that are double-walled featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space between walls. It includes two vents with 2 in (5.1 cm) threaded fittings, fire baffles, and caps. The cabinet has a high gloss, lead-free, baked-on powder coat finish with red trilingual warning, grounding attachment, a 3-point stainless steel latch system, and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill. The cabinet features continuous piano hinges, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, internal and external welded construction, and a flush mounted door handle with key lock. Each shelf is adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, supported by four brackets, with a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg). The doors are self-latching, self-closing with a 135° opening, designed with a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf, and self-indexing to ensure they close in sequence for a tight closure from top to bottom. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements.
