The Justrite® Yellow Dot Type II Accuflow™ steel safety can, model 7325230, is a 2.5 gal (9 L) container designed for the over-the-road transport of diesel fuel and onsite fuel dispensing, suitable for industries such as agriculture, construction, and mining. Made of steel, it measures 12.7 in (305 mm) in exterior height with an outer diameter of 11.75 in (298 mm) and features a 1.68 in (43 mm) fill or pour hole. Included is a 9 in (229 mm) long metal hose with an outer diameter of 1 in (25 mm). The can uses Accuflow’s™ Safe-Squeeze® trigger mechanism that operates a piston-actuated spout and vacuum-release valve for fast, accurate, and glug-free pouring, automatically closing the valve upon handle release to prevent spills. Safety features include an internal stainless steel flame arrester to dissipate heat and prevent flashback ignition, a leak-tight, self-closing lid that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar), and heavy roll bars protecting the spout. The exterior includes a large ID zone for content labeling, helping to avoid misuse or mixing incompatible products. This FM-approved can complies with Department of Transportation (DOT), HM-181, OSHA requirements, meets NFPA code 30, bears United Nations (UN) approved marking 1A1/Y1.2/100, and is accepted under CARB regulations. It features a hold-down bracket tethered to the lid by an easy-to-grasp tightening screw to prevent vapor release and spills during transport, and a fusible link bracket for secure engagement when used. The product comes with a 10-year limited warranty.
