Justrite's steel laboratory safety cans offer all the benefits of Type I cans with additional features designed for safely dispensing hazardous liquids into test tubes, small flasks, and beakers. The cans include fill spouts with self-close, pressure-relief caps and stainless steel flame arresters, as well as a vacuum-relief valve within the lid to ensure smooth liquid flow and self-closing faucets for reliable dispensing. Two faucet options are available: the smaller No. 08540 faucet, ideal for easier dispensing in laboratory environments, and the No. 08902 faucet, which is better suited for heavy industrial use. Shelf cans feature the No. 08540 faucet mounted 2 inches above the bottom to eliminate the need for lifting the cans during dispensing. These cans are FM approved for safety compliance.
