The safety can features a self-closing, leakproof lid designed with a single spout for filling and pouring, and includes automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to prevent rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to ensure 100% leakproof construction, and is finished with a tough powder-coat that resists chemicals and endures rigorous use. The can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester to dissipate heat and stop flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1 L) have a trigger-release handle, while larger sizes feature a swinging handle to facilitate carrying heavier loads. Swing-handle cans also include a large label ID zone for marking contents, department location, or user name. The safety cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TV, comply with OSHA and NFPA requirements, and come with a ten-year warranty.
