Designed with a single spout for filling and pouring, the sealed lid of this Justrite® safety can features automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to guard against rupture or explosion. Made from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to guarantee 100% leakproof construction, and the tough powder-coat finish resists chemicals and stands up to rigorous use. Each can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1L) feature a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities have a swinging handle for easier carrying of heavier loads. For cans sized 1-gallon (4L) and larger, a Type I safety can polypropylene funnel is available, which attaches to the spout neck and has a two-position design that folds down for filling or storage and stays up for pouring, with a large rounded bowl to protect against splashing and spillage. The product is color coded to avoid accidents, has a self-closing lid for spill control, and a leakproof auto-venting lid to prevent explosions. It is approved by FM, UL/ULC, and TUV, and meets OSHA and NFPA requirements.
