Justrite's steel laboratory safety cans offer the benefits of Type I cans with additional features designed for safely dispensing hazardous liquids into test tubes, small flasks, and beakers. The cans include fill spouts with self-closing, pressure-relief caps and stainless steel flame arresters, as well as a vacuum-relief valve within the lid for smooth liquid flow and self-closing faucets for easy dispensing. Options include a smaller No. 08540 faucet for easier dispensing in laboratory environments and a No. 08902 faucet suited for heavy industrial use. Shelf cans are equipped with the No. 08902 faucet mounted 2 inches above the bottom to eliminate the need to lift the cans during dispensing. These safety cans are FM approved, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
