Made from strong carbon alloy steel and zinc-plated gold chromate for corrosion resistance, the Ancra Cargo® Grade 70XHD 3/8-in. x 20-ft. chain assembly is designed specifically to provide a strong chain for tie-downs, featuring heat treatment and 100% proof testing to twice its original working load limit of 6,600 lbs. The assembly includes oversized Grade 80 clevis hooks made of heat-treated alloy steel, which offer increased strength and material in the neck of the hook to reduce cracking caused by side pulls. This chain assembly meets NACM standards according to Department of Transportation and CCMTA specifications for tie-down use, with properly marked links and aluminum tags stamped with the working load limit information. The large Grade 80 clevis hooks contribute to the improved strength and durability of the overall system. The product comes with warranty terms as specified by the manufacturer.
