The rugged and reliable 1 gal (3.8 L) Eagle® Green Type I steel safety can for combustibles (model UI10FSG) weighs 3.52 lbs (1.67 kg) when empty and approximately 12 lbs (6 kg) when full, featuring a pour or fill hole with an inner diameter of 1.65 in (4.19 cm) and an attached funnel to prevent spills and splashes when pouring into smaller tanks. Measuring 8 in (20.5 cm) high with an outer diameter of 9 in (22.9 cm), it is designed for easy storage in Eagle® safety cabinets and is ideal for gas/oil mixtures used in 2-stroke engines. Constructed of 24-gauge, hot dip, galvanized steel with a unique deep-drawn process that eliminates top or side seams to prevent leaks and gas odors, the can includes a self-closing, leak-tested lid, a double interlock no-weld bottom seam for spill protection, a nitrile gasket that releases vapors at 3 to 5 psi internal pressure to prevent rupture, and a non-sparking flame arrester to absorb and dissipate heat, preventing ignition or explosion. The comfort grip and trigger release handle enable smooth pouring with reduced wrist strain. All Eagle® Type I safety cans are 100% American-made, UL and ULC-listed, FM-approved, meet OSHA and NFPA Code 30 requirements, and are accepted under CARB for safe storage and handling of flammable liquids.
