The rugged and reliable 2.5 gal (9.5 L) Eagle® Green Type I steel safety can for combustibles (model UI25FSG) weighs 5.7 lbs (2.6 kg) when empty and approximately 27 lbs (13 kg) when full, making it suitable for quick fuel ups. The can features a pour or fill hole with an inner diameter of 1.65 in (4.19 cm) and includes an attached funnel to help prevent spills and splashes when pouring into smaller tanks. Measuring 10 inches (25.4 cm) high with an outer diameter of 11.25 inches (28.6 cm), it fits easily into an Eagle® safety cabinet and is ideal for gas/oil mixtures for 2-stroke engines. Manufactured with 24-gauge, hot dip galvanized steel using a unique, deep-drawn process that leaves no top or side seams, the can eliminates leak risks and prevents gas odors from escaping. It has a self-closing, leak-tested lid, a double interlock no-weld bottom seam, and a nitrile gasket that automatically releases vapors between 3 and 5 psi internal pressure to prevent rupture. The non-sparking flame arrester absorbs and dissipates heat to prevent ignition or explosion. The can includes a comfort grip and trigger release handle for smooth pouring, meeting CARB approval, OSHA and NFPA Code 30 requirements, is UL and ULC-listed, and FM-approved for the safe storage and handling of flammable liquids.
