The Ancra Cargo 3/8-in. to 1/2-in. XHD ratchet load binder is designed to efficiently and reliably secure transport chains, constructed from high-strength drop-forged steel for durability and features a working load limit of 9,200 lbs. It is coated with yellow e-coat paint to resist environmental elements and enhance visibility. The ratcheting mechanism includes a heavier welded barrel, a two-piece handle with a spring-loaded release rocker lever, and built-in thread stops that prevent overextension of the threads, ensuring no loss of load carrying capacity. The binder operates by attaching chain links to either hook and pulling the lever to tighten. It accepts chains ranging from 3/8-in. G70 up to 1/2-in. G43.
